Some guests mention that the takeaway service could improve with clearer information regarding options and preparation times. A few patrons have expressed concerns over limited outdoor heating on cold days, impacting their dining comfort. Occasionally, there are comments about the busy weekends, which can lead to longer wait times during peak hours. Although vastly appreciated, the hearty portions sometimes lead to complaints of being overly generous, which might not suit those seeking lighter meals.
We had an amazing meal at this sea view restaurant. I called at 4 and asked if they were serving till 5. They said that they usually close the kitchen at 4 but would stay open for us. When we got there the service by the wonderful Jade and Leigh was exceptional. The restaurant was clean and cosy and the bathroom was spotless. The food itself was simple but delicious and reasonably priced too. In particular the batter on the fish and chips was just right! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Good food, portions were well sized too Both indoor and outdoor seating, well-located, being near the beach. No information on toilet facilities for customers
1st time visiting, got given a menu and told order at the counter. Ordered: kids chicken nuggets and chips, orange fruit shoot, bacon roll and hot choclate all come to £19. Staff were friendly, had the heater going which helped as it was cold outside and view of the beach. Will be returning soon!
Popped to Sounthend on Sea after a visit nearby and we always get our fish and chips fom the front take away counter, this time as the weather wasn't ideal we decided to sit in and glad we did. The food was delicious and it felt a bit more "posh" served on a plate with a knife and fork with side salad and peas. The staff were very friendly and very welcoming. Will be eating in again next time we visit.
Lovely staff and very clean premises - I can only assume the negative reviews are of another venue?!? As a parent you can make a very good judgement by the cleaniness of the high chairs and they were clean as a whistle. Food and drinks were excellent - halloumi burger, chips, jacket potato with tuna mayo and coffees. Fourth time we've been here and never been a bad experience.
Always spotlessly clean. Lovely food and good choices on the menu. Particularly like breakfast as you pay per item and pick exactly what you want. Fish and chips are also great.
